Please read the following information before placing an order, especially the notes about handmade production, materials, processing times, and shipping.

Product Photos

All product photos are taken of actual NeenaStudio products.

We do our best to show colors and details as accurately as possible. However, colors may appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography equipment, and your display settings.

Product photos should therefore be considered a reference rather than an exact representation of color.

Handmade and Small-Batch Production

NeenaStudio is a small independent studio.

Most products are designed by me and made individually or in small batches rather than through industrial mass production.

Depending on the product, the production process may include:

  • 3D printing
  • hand finishing and polishing
  • manual assembly
  • quality inspection
  • packing and shipping

Many products are made to order, and different colors, configurations, and designs may require different production times.

This small-batch way of working allows me to offer more colors, variations, and designs than would normally be practical with industrial mass production.

Minor Variations and Imperfections

Because many NeenaStudio products involve 3D printing, hand finishing, and manual assembly, small cosmetic variations may occur.

These may include:

Small surface marks
Tiny dust marks, dark spots, small bubbles, pinholes, or slight color variations.

3D printing marks
Visible layer lines, seam lines, small surface irregularities, or other traces of the printing process.

Hand finishing
Small areas that may not be perfectly uniform or completely smooth.

Assembly
Minor traces left during bonding or assembly.

These small cosmetic variations do not normally affect the function of the product.

Products with significant defects are not sold as regular products.

Materials and Care

Materials vary between products. Please refer to the individual product page for specific material information whenever available.

Many NeenaStudio paint boxes and accessories are made using 3D-printed plastics.

Like many plastic materials, some 3D-printed parts can be affected by prolonged exposure to certain chemicals and organic solvents.

One possible issue is environmental stress cracking, in which exposure to certain chemicals can contribute to fine cracks developing in plastic under stress.

Substances that may contain solvents capable of affecting some plastics include:

  • acetone
  • isopropyl alcohol
  • some alcohol-based products
  • certain adhesives
  • thread-locking adhesives
  • some cosmetics
  • other solvent-containing chemicals

Some artists' paints, mediums, cleaning products, and related materials may also contain solvents or additives.

Whenever possible, avoid prolonged direct contact between plastic parts and strong solvents.

Where to Buy

Customers in China

Most NeenaStudio products are currently sold in China through Xianyu and Taobao, with Xianyu being the main platform.

Many products are made individually or in small sets to order rather than kept as permanent inventory.

Some ready-made products may also be offered through Xiaohongshu livestreams or at in-person sketching and art events.

For made-to-order products, the usual process is:

Order placed → production queue → 3D printing → hand finishing → quality inspection → packing → shipping

Production time depends on the product and my current workload. Please refer to the current listing or contact me for the latest estimate.

International Customers

The international shop is a selected collection rather than a complete catalog of everything I design and make.

You may therefore see products, colors, prototypes, or new designs in my videos or social media posts that are not yet listed here.

Most of my regular production is currently made to order for customers in China. Small quantities of ready-made products may also sell out through Xiaohongshu livestreams or in-person events before I have had time to prepare an international listing.

Preparing a product for international sale requires additional work, including organizing photographs, preparing English descriptions, setting up product options, confirming available inventory, and making sure I can handle packaging and international shipping when an order is placed.

If there has not yet been interest or a request from international customers, I may not prepare an international listing for every new product.

If you see something in one of my videos or posts that you would like to purchase but cannot find in the international shop, please feel free to contact me.

If the product is still available or can be made again, I can check whether it can be prepared for international purchase.

International Shipping

International orders are shipped from China.

For many destinations, I use China Post Express Mail Service (EMS). Available shipping methods may vary depending on the destination, parcel size, weight, and current postal services.

International shipping can appear relatively expensive because the cost is based on actual international parcel rates from China.

The NeenaStudio shop currently uses shipping rates based on parcel weight:

  • 0–0.5 kg
  • 0.51–1 kg
  • 1.01–1.5 kg
  • 1.51–2 kg

These weight ranges cover most products sold through the shop.

If your order falls outside the normal shipping range, or if you would like to order several products together, please contact me before ordering so I can check the available shipping options.

International Delivery Time

International delivery times vary depending on the destination, shipping service, customs processing, and local delivery conditions.

EMS shipments to many destinations normally take around one to several weeks, but this is only an estimate and cannot be guaranteed.

Customs inspection or other circumstances may occasionally result in longer delivery times.

Import taxes, VAT, customs duties, or other charges may also apply depending on the destination country's regulations. These charges, when applicable, are normally the responsibility of the recipient.

Using a Chinese Forwarding Address

If you use a forwarding or consolidation service in China, you can also place an order using the service provider's Chinese delivery address.

Domestic shipping within China is generally much less expensive than direct international shipping.

Please make sure that your forwarding provider accepts the type, size, and contents of the parcel before placing your order.

Domestic Shipping in China

For delivery addresses within China, orders are normally shipped using standard domestic courier services or SF Express.

NeenaStudio is located in Jiangsu, China.

After an order has been completed and dispatched, delivery to most cities in China usually takes approximately 1–3 days.

Please note that this is the courier delivery time and does not include the production time required for made-to-order products.

After-Sales Support

Please check the parcel after delivery, especially if the outer packaging shows obvious signs of damage.

If your order arrives damaged, contains the wrong item, or has another significant problem, please contact me as soon as possible.

If possible, please include:

  • your order information
  • photographs of the product
  • photographs of the outer packaging
  • photographs showing the problem
