Still Drawing, Still Making

If you've been following my videos or social media, you may have noticed something a little strange:

I keep showing new paint boxes, palettes, sketching tools, colors, prototypes, and other things — but many of them never seem to appear in this shop.

You're right. This website hasn't kept up with everything I've been making.

NeenaStudio, however, has been anything but quiet.

How NeenaStudio works today

NeenaStudio is a very small independent studio, and my way of working is quite different from a conventional online store.

Most of my sales currently take place in China through Xianyu and Taobao, particularly Xianyu. Rather than producing large quantities and keeping a full inventory, I usually design something first and then make individual pieces or small sets to order.

At the same time, I still spend a lot of time doing what started all of this in the first place: drawing.

I sketch outdoors, travel, attend Urban Sketchers gatherings and other sketching activities, and take part in art events and exhibitions. These experiences often lead to new ideas, which then become prototypes, new colors, or entirely new tools.

Sometimes I also make a small quantity of ready-made products. These may be offered during livestreams on Xiaohongshu or taken to in-person events, and occasionally they sell out before I have even prepared them for the international shop.

That's why you may see something new in a video, but not find it here.

Why isn't everything listed here?

Making the product is only one part of putting it in an international shop.

Before I can list something here properly, I also need to organize and photograph it, prepare an English description, set up the available colors and options, confirm inventory, and make sure I can handle packaging and international shipping when an order arrives.

For a small studio, all of that takes a surprising amount of time.

When a small batch has already sold out in China, and I haven't received any requests or interest from international customers, I often move on to the next design, custom order, drawing trip, or event rather than preparing an international listing for something that is no longer in stock.

Over time, this has created a gap between what you see me making and what you can actually find on this website.

I'd like to make that gap smaller

I don't plan to turn NeenaStudio into a large store with every design permanently in stock.

That's simply not how I work.

But I would like this website to better reflect what NeenaStudio is today, and I plan to gradually bring more selected products to the international shop.

So if you see something in one of my videos or posts that you really like but cannot find here, please let me know.

Even if it isn't currently listed, it may still be possible to make another one, include it in a future batch, or prepare it for international purchase.

Knowing what international artists are interested in also helps me decide which products are worth preparing for this shop.
